Our Saviors Lutheran Church has a wonderful Sunday School Program where our goal is to provide a basic foundation of Christian Education. Sunday School classes meet every Sunday. Our curriculum follows the lectionary schedule used within the ELCA. This means that parents are hearing sermons on the same things that their children are learning about in Sunday School. We feel this is a great way for families to really bring home what they hear at church and share the experience together.
Children are also asked periodically to participate during the service. Singing, playing instruments or reading the lessons are just some of the ways our children learn how to become part of the church community. We are excited to see just how eager they are to share in the joy of worship.
These are just some of the special ways the children of Our Saviors are involved, please come and check us out this Sunday.
THE NOAH'S ARK NURSERY
The OSLC Noah's Ark Nursery provides a safe and clean environment to infants and toddlers while their parents attend worship. At the East Mesa campus, the nursery is staffed on Sundays by the director, Kimberly Welch, and volunteers during the 10:00am service. Kimberly would love for you to stop in or contact her if you would like to volunteer or have any questions.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Thank you for coming and spending some time with us during VBS. We had a bamboo blast sharing the news that "God is Wild About YOU!" during the week of June 20-24th. It's always a God Sighting to see all the children that come through the church's doors each year. If you go to the Thoughts and Prayers page, you will be able to see some of the great pictures that were taken that helped capture some the fun the children had each night. Also, click on the June 26th Recent Services page to view the service that our VBS children led. We are so proud of them. They did a great job. Thank You GOD!
