MUSIC & CHOIRS
We welcome anyone in the congregation to contribute to the special music, either vocally or instrumentally. We perform a Christmas Cantata every year on the second Sunday in December. Even if someone is not a regular member of a choir, they are welcome to come and join the group for the Cantata. Rehearsals for the Cantata are immediately following the Wednesday evening and Friday morning choir rehearsals at the East Mesa Campus.
East Mesa Senior Choir is mainly comprised of winter visitors, directed by Ned Potter and traditionally sings at the 10:00 & 11:15am Sunday Worship Services. Rehearsals are Friday mornings at 9:00am.
East Mesa Chancel Choir under the direction of Dwight Walth, rehearses at 6:30pm on Wednesdays and sings at the 7:30 & 8:45am Sunday Worship Services. Chancel Choir sings from September through May.
East Mesa Handbell Choir, also directed by Dwight Walth, rehearses on Thursdays @ 6:30PM September through May.
Epiphany Apache Junction Choir, directed by Bob McDowell, rehearses on Tuesdays at 11:00am in the Sanctuary, October through Easter. The director is Bob McDowell.
Gold Canyon Choir is under the direction of Richard Wall. Rehearsals are at 10:00am Fridays October through Easter. They sing at all services at the GC Campus.
